PmDave: Should I Look At My Credit Score Before Applying for a Rental?

Andy Jolls: You should absolutely go look at your credit score if you are a renter and are about to become a prostect and looking for a new apartment a new rental home I can’t remember the exact precentage is of landlords that look at credit reports and credit scores but it is high enough that you don’t want to take the risk.

The other thing is you don’t really want to pull this for the first time right when you are about to apply, you would like to have some time to actually see it in case there is anything you want to try and correct or improve your behavior before rent a place.

PmDave: If the property manager has the file in front of him can I even see it?
